Alan B. Gordon is the Managing Attorney at Erin Joyce Law, PC. He is a 1986 graduate of Hastings College of the Law (recently renamed the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco), and has been a licensed attorney in California for over 36 years. He’s devoted the bulk of his legal career to the public sector, including more than 18 years spent with the Office of the Chief Trial Counsel of the State Bar of California where he started as a Deputy Trial Counsel, advanced to the position of Supervising Trial Counsel, and eventually held for more than five years a management position as Assistant Chief Trial Counsel. Alan has been in private practice since 2016, representing attorneys facing disciplinary investigations and prosecution, aspiring lawyers who are threatened with the denial of certification of good moral character, former attorneys seeking to establish their rehabilitation and regain their licenses to practice law, and anyone else caught up in any legal matter in the fields of attorney discipline, licensing, and the regulation of the legal profession in California.
Alan is a member of the Association of Discipline Defense Counsel (disciplinedefensecounsel.org) and of the Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers (APRL.net).
